Our Extraordinary Elysium eases effortlessly, efficiently into Spring!

Wooster Square's Cherry Blossoms are just warming up!

We are just hitting our spring stride here in Historic, World Famous Wooster Square. Even though you see Robins near the shore year round here in Connecticut, I just saw my first one set wing inside the Square on Saturday. And it was just yesterday, Monday the 13th of April you could go outside without a coat on. Albeit I did have a sweatshirt, but it felt good. Up in Hartford, it got into the 70's for the 2nd day in a row.

Whew! We made it! Just in time too. The park is literally being hand raked by neighbors to make our Wooster Square Cherry Blossom Festival, April 26, a resounding success! Last year, about 7000 Hallowed Hanamians gathered during the festival to see the blossoms, eat great food and listen to music. Did I mention free prizes? The Raptors for Kids? There is something for everyone. Arts, Crafts, history and pastries! My mouth is watering just thinking about a slice of pie and a cannoli! Does it get any better than that?

H-e-(double hockey stick) Yes! We have world famous Cherry Blossoms People! And will they be blooming? Of course, that is why you are here. To know confidently what the condition of the Cherry Trees here on Hughes Place and in the park.

While I have the blossom mainframe check out the latest bloomatomical models, why don't we check out the park to see where we are today, Tuesday April 14, 2015.

Caution!!!

Viewing Wooster Square photos can lure one into a sense of calm, peace
and understanding. We urge you not to look at the pictures while not only driving but eating as well!
