Surreal Sakura Season Sans Society

In these trying times, we need our Beloved Beautiful Benevolent Blossoms!

Cherry Blossoms mean many things to
many people. To some they herald
the long awaited arrival of spring.

To others, it's time to reflect on
how beautiful yet fragile life is.

All over the World, people take the
time to connect and pause during
Cherry Blossom Season.

The Sweet Sakura Blossom lasts only
a precious week or two, falling
and blowing away in a
pink and white blossom blizzard.

So beautiful, so fleeting.

Then the blossoms are gone, till next year.

In this time of real and present danger,
this Cherry Blossom Season is different.

We can't party and dance at the Festival,
eat at the Food trucks and reminisce
about the good old days in Wooster Square,
talk about the good times to come.

The Wooster Square Cherry Blossom Festival
helped us come together as
a neighborhood, as New Haven,
and as a State.

I'm extremely sorry to all those
who will be affected.

Please, by all means, until further notice,
enjoy the Blossoms! Keep social
distancing and by all means
come and picnic with your family.

Groups of 10 or more are not allowed.

With that said, I'll go out and get some photos
and try to narrow down peak!

Pink showing!

away from peak pop. They are in
the Third stage, extension of florets.

Remember to Social distance.

We will get through this.
