Wooster Square — Saturday Morning Update
Past peak, but still 50%+ of blossoms clinging to the branches — so the trees are holding their pink parade. A pink carpet is already forming, and soon we’ll get the full Hanafubuki (花吹雪) — that glorious “flower snowstorm” when petals drift like a cherry‑blossom blizzard.
Festival logistics (quick): streets around the park are closed; parking is tight. Signs will guide folks off I‑91, but my tip: park downtown and walk — there are several garages on State Street. No curbside parking near the park during the festival.
What’s happening: ~40 food trucks, 3 bands, and neighborhood cheer everywhere. Showers are in the forecast — bring a waterproof picnic blanket and anything you need to stay dry.
Final notes: I’ll post a formal analysis next week. Over 225,000 visits on social in the last 28 days — wow. As I always say: It’s Hip to be Square — Wooster, that is.
