It's Here! Wooster Square's 45th Annual Sweet Sakura Spring Celebration!

Sunday looks to be the first 

Nice Day of Spring! 

Festival is FREE and runs from 

Noon Until 4:30

Things will be Popping and Hopping

Sunday April 22, 2018!!

Finally, Spring Weather.

Well, maybe not this morning when I 

was out documenting the progress of

our World Famous Cherry Blossoms.

The temperature was a balmy 36 degrees.

Pretty hard to coax our pink pretties to pop with the perpetual polar temps people!

But coax we will, especially this afternoon when

it will be sunny near 60.

You'll be able to hear all the millions of blossoms blooming!

So Grab one on New Haven's World Famous

Pizza's to go, then head to Wooster Square!

I personally give you permission to leave early today.

Make sure to pick up a favorite beverage, bring

a blanket, Frisbee, and picnic party people!

The blossoms are just starting to PoP!

Wooster Square Remembers

Sparklers in the early morning light.

So come join the fun!

There will be bands, food of all kinds,

exhibitors, crafts, artists, dancing

and it all FREE to get in!

(I will have a table at the Festival!

I have matted photos and more!)

So make plans now for two important

Wooster Square Events.

Saturday night, at St. Michael's church,

there is the Cherry Blossom Concert!

The concert features world class

musicians from right here in Wooster Square.

It starts at 7:30 and is free.

Program last approx 1 hour.

Then Sunday at Noon we kick off

the 45th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival!

Don't miss out on a great day of fun!
