The winter of 2019-2020 will go down
as the winter that wasn't so woebegone.
In fact, we've enjoyed mostly moderate temperatures and very little frozen precipitation.
So as you can imagine, our Sweet Sakuras
(Cherry trees)
are in hurry up mode to rise and shine!

Washington DC's blossoms have three
major Bloomologists, that take
on the task of predicting Peak Pop.
(Peak is when about 70% of the
trees are in full bloom.)

By order of the Historic Wooster Square Association,
I was afforded the title of
Chief Bloomologist in 2012.
Not to toot our own horn here, but
the WSBB has a 100% accuracy rate
in predicting and showing Peak Pop.

Peak on average 15.5 days after DC.
So what does that mean for ours?
Who Knows!
Wooster Square Cherry Blossoms need to get to stage two before we zero in!
