Music✅Cherry Blossoms✅ Food ✅ Fun ✅
Our Hanami Hiatus is over! After a two year covid conundrum, we've brought the Festival back! Except, this year it's called a Celebration because we can get back together and let people spread out all over Wooster Park.
So far, it's looking like Mother Nature will cooperate albeit on the Chilly side. So pack up your blankets, chairs, coolers, frisbees and get your Huge Hanami High on Sunday!
Of course, you can always pick up your favorite pizza or pasta on Wooster Street.
Academy Street will be CLOSED from 8-5 Sunday to allow for food trucks to be parked, allowing more space for people to spread out in the park.
Also, the bandstand stage is set over on the Wooster Place side of the park. Again designed to help people spread out and enjoy the day.
Will there be Blossoms? Yes. We are past peak but the eastern side of the park is still blooming. And Hughes Place is still blooming strong.
I went out this morning, take a look at our Square!
