Cherry Blossoms on the Brink!

Spring. We had all types of spring this past weekend. We had a deluge of rain, a few hail showers and throw in some sunshine for good measure.

I was able to take some photos around lunchtime. Lot's of folks walking, sitting in the sun and kids playing. Most of the trees are ready to pop, only about 4 trees have started to bloom. Some have a couple open blossoms here and there. They haven't officially popped yet. The temperature has been so chilly they are taking their sweet sakura time!

I expect them to all pop soon. All things considered, peak may be later this week. Good Friday is a possibility! At any rate, they will be beautiful this coming weekend.
