Tennis Anyone? 20 Years of World Class Tennis in New Haven!

Connecticut Open Celebrating 20 years of  Tennis

in New Haven Connecticut!

Summer in the City.

New Haven slows to a more laid back pace.

Restaurants, bars, museums are mostly
filled with visiting students and tourists.

Tourists?

New Haven has long been a destination pretty much kept secret until a few years ago.

Between the restaurants, shops, parks, museums, Yale, biking, birding, and Historic Neighborhoods.

Oh, and the Apizza! #nhv

Drooling is unavoidable

Pepe's Clam Pie

Besides all that New Haven has to offer,
we cap off the summer with
Wold Class Women's Tennis

Behind the scene.

Tournament Director +Anne Worcester

put it all on the line as they try
to get on a roll the week before the
US Open in New York.

The Players love New Haven.
They love the shopping and restaurants!

Like last year, the World First Photoblogumentary
was issued back stage passes to
give you the breaking stories!
(in addition to reporting from box 4a,
which has been in the Szczarba family
for 20 years as well)!

Giving the 2016 Champion some
advice she took to heart.
(I suggested to her that if she beat everyone,
in every match, then she'd win!)

I'll be tweeting LIVE and on the WSBB
Facebook page from the tournament!

Take a look at some of last year's action!
