What's the buzz, tell me what's happening!

This is about to get real!

These are hectic days for blossom whisperers. One day it seems like the won't ever bloom then the next day they're gone!

The shocking joy of the cherry blossoms appearing while there is still a nip in the air can be jaw dropping!
So while it has taken almost a month from Stage one, now we're in a sprint. Well maybe more like speedwalking.

Because cherry blossoms can be fleetingly fickle flowers, you just don't want to miss them when they are blooming.

So follow along to get your Hanami going! The Japanese call the process of taking in the beauty as Hanami.

The best way to see them is to come early in the morning or late afternoon. Bring a blanket or something to sit on. I have seen tables with dinner settings to pizza and foxon soda on beach towels.

You see, there's no wrong way to enjoy Wooster Square Cherry Blossoms.

I recommend a walk before you settle in for your picnic.
Start at Chapel and Academy and go north on the sidewalk on outside of the park.

Travel to Greene Streete following the sidewalk until you get to Hughes Place. Walk up one side then back down the other.

Then continue around the park until you get to where you started! I'm sure that you will find, some trees are ahead and some behind.

I was out this morning to beat the coming rain.

It's a dark, but warmish day. Most of the photos are from yesterday.

It looks like Hughes Place and some other trees are in Stage 5: Puffy white/pink

Stage 6 peak, should be in 4-6 days. The whole park should follow during the week.

See you around the park
