Thursday's Theme: Blossoms Puffy White, Popped and mostly Procrastinating

Chilly temps has blossoms lagging

Thursdays check on the blossom progress shows there is no stopping them now! Last nights winds and rain went easy on Historic Wooster Square. All our hardy buds hung on for their debut this Sunday at the Wooster Square Cherry Blossom Festival, noon - 5pm.

Plenty of food, entertainment, activities for the kids and adults alike. There will be history, authors, artists, and arts and crafts. Other New Haven venues have a table such as the New Haven Museum. Last year, over 7,000 fanatical fun fellow flower followers were enjoying the once a year spectacle..

The art of enjoying the here and now.

This year, the Wooster Square Historic Association,
is honoring 102 year old Luisa Delauro.
She was the longest serving Alderwoman
over 30 years. (you may know her daughter, Rosa)

But best of all? It was Luisa's idea to plant
the Cherry Trees in Wooster Square!

Thanks Luisa Delauro!!
