Bloom Update: Stage 2 is Here!
Roxie and I officially called Stage 2 yesterday, and what a difference a day makes! Today’s warmth is coaxing our "cutties" out of hibernation, and they are looking better by the hour. We expect them to hit the next milestone—the extension of the florets—over the weekend, so keep your eyes peeled.
The New Haven Parks Department has been hard at work today, too, keeping the square beautiful and safely removing a large dead tree.
While our noon walk was a misty, soggy mess, the clouds have cleared! As of 3:00 PM, it is absolutely gorgeous out. It’s the perfect time for a pre-dinner stroll around the park before you head off for your Friday night pizza or pasta. 🌸✨
